It was a weighty experience on Thaun’s professional debut at Knowsley Leisure Centre in November 2021. Just a few days before his 20th birthday he gave a stone away to Danny Little, but dropped his opponent en-route to a clear points win over four rounds. His second fight in April 2021 was mightily impressive.

 

Then, he dropped Manchester’s John Spencer three times before getting a second round stoppage victory in April 2022. Thaun was back in action just two months later and easily saw off veteran Jamie Quinn winning all four rounds.It was a disappointing end to the year, losing his unbeaten record to Jake Smith, going down 39-38 after a four round thriller.
