Celebrating 28 Years of VIP Boxing!

Since our debut show in April 1996, VIP Boxing has evolved into Britain's top independent Boxing Promoter being a true constant every year .

We have been the most active promoter in the country, hosting more than 20 small hall shows every year . Our core principle of prioritising fighters, both inside and outside the ring, has remained steadfast. This dedication has been instrumental in boxers wanting to join our team and our success in nurturing boxers from their first professional bout on our small hall shows winning Area titles to English , British , Commonwealth , European and world titles in stadiums.

Stephen Wood - VIP's Founder and Managing Director - has cultivated strong partnerships with all major promotional firms and TV networks during his near three decades in the industry.

The VIP stable continues to expand and always has held one of the country's most formidable collections of Champions, challengers, and promising prospects.

Terry Flanagan, VIP's inaugural World Champion, claimed the lightweight title in July 2015 at the Manchester Velodrome by defeating boxing veteran Jose Zepeda. Flanagan defended the title on five occasions before relinquishing it to move up in weight . Josh Warrington was our Second World champion and currently is a 2-time Featherweight World champion looking to move to Super-Feather and become a 2 weight World champion .

VIP has a history of producing winners with numerous British and European champions including Jamie Moore who was a European Champion and successfully defended his British title an incredible seven times!

During our anniversary week, Zelfa Barrett headlines at the Manchester  Arena where the  former World Title Challenger 'The Brown Flash,' will clash with Jordan 'The Thrill' Gill .  It has been touted the winner will get a World title shot and we firmly believe Zelfa  will be victorious and move on to be our Third World champion .

With the recent changes with VIP at Board level and new investment the future looks bright as we push for a TV deal which has eluded VIP over the years .

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude for your support, whether you have been a long-time fan or recently discovered us. Here's to another fantastic 28 years of VIP Boxing!
