🎬 FIGHT NIGHT UNBOXED | Liverpool Box Park Review | by Luiz Faye🎬
What a debut night it was at Liverpool Box Park, a brand-new venue for VIP Boxing and Trinity Entertainment, that delivered incredible action in a buzzing atmosphere from the first bell to the last 🔥
The show kicked off with Ryan Dickens setting the tone, boxing smart to take a solid 39-37 win over Nathan Darby. Lucas “The Cool” Dube followed with a points victory, showing great variation behind the jab, before Anthony Welsh impressed once again, moving to 3-0 as a pro with a dominant 40-36 display.

The momentum kept rolling as Jake “Danger” Dodd showcased his sharp skillset, cruising to 5-0 with a 60-54 shutout win over Stephen Jackson, with his sights now firmly set on Mikie Tallon and a British Title challenge next year. Jake Harrison then produced a spiteful performance behind his superb southpaw jab to defeat Charles Tondo 59-55, while Paddy Lacey lit up the crowd, mixing it on the inside and displaying his boxing skills with a 60-54 victory over Jose Aguirre, extending his perfect record to 12-0.
There was plenty of drama too. Returning from injury, Leon Willings came up short against Robbie Connor. Finding his rhythm in the fourth and final round, the light heavyweight, used to having eight to ten rounds to work with, just didn’t have enough time. That said, credit to Connor, who came and ripped up the script exactly as he planned.

“Majestic” Junior Thompson showed his class and came out on top after a thrilling six-round battle with the tough and determined Connor Goulding. My pick of the card in the preview lived up to expectations. Goulding never stopped coming forward or asking questions, but Thompson didn’t show any signs of being out of the ring for two years, it was home sweet home for him.
Mason Cartwright provided the main event attraction and brought his trademark TNT, making a huge statement by blasting out his opponent in just one round 💥 Surely, something on TV or with a belt attached will come his way soon.
Liverpool’s Lewis Mullineux (6-0) stepped up to take on Matthew King (8-10-1), showing he was more than ready with a clean-sweep 60-54 win in front of a huge home crowd. Promoted by Trinity Entertainment, it looks like championship rounds
are coming his way in the very near future.

The night closed in style as Nathan Quarless produceda career-best performance in a great cruiserweight clash with the game Ross McGuigan, who came to win. Nathan showed his experience and ring craft to take a 77-75 victory, rounding off a fantastic first event at Box Park.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out, from the fighters who gave it their all to the fans who made it a night to remember, both in the venue and on the livestream, led by fantastic commentary from Lee Whitehead, Brian Phillips, and Sam Maxwell. Liverpool Box Park, we’ll be back 👊
