This Saturday, VIP Boxing brings the action to a brand-new venue! We head to Liverpool Box Park for a huge 11-fight card packed with local talent, unbeaten prospects, and headline clashes you won’t want to miss!

At the top of the bill, Mason Cartwright steps through the ropes looking to make another statement in front of a home crowd as he takes on Dmitri Protkunas. The former British title challenger has been in with some of the division’s best and will be out to remind everyone why he’s one of the most dangerous domestic operators around.

Chief support sees Nathan Quarless face Ross McGuigan in a cruiserweight clash between two seasoned campaigners. Quarless has title ambitions on the horizon, but McGuigan will be looking to rip up the script and cause an upset.

Also in action, rising star Ryan Dickens continues to build momentum as he meets Nathan Darby, while fan favourite Leon Willings returns to the VIP ring to face Scotland’s Robbie Connor over four rounds at light heavyweight.

The Solly’s own Lewis Mullineux is back in action after dispatching his last opponent in just two rounds, this time, Matthew King provides the dance partner.

Flyweight Lucas Dube meets Lakshmy Zaragoza Contreras, and Anthony Welsh faces Joe Hardy at super welterweight, as both boxers hope to make it a hat-trick of wins in their first season as professionals.

Jake Dodd hopes to go 5-0 as he meets Stephen Jackson, while Jake Harrison faces Tanzania’s Charles Tondo over six rounds. Both Dodd and Harrison are expected to move toward title contention next year.

Paddy Lacey looks to build on a dominant win in Blackpool last month, as he faces Jose Aguirre in the middleweight ranks.

And my personal pick of the card, David ‘Junior’ Thompson, who takes on former VIP boxer Connor Goulding in a local middleweight showdown. There’s more than just a win on the line here, it’s the bragging rights that go with it!
