Two months later tough Pole Marian Wesolowski lasted just 150 seconds and was rescued when trapped in a neutral corner as a barrage of shots rained down.

Trainer Anth Kelly wanted Travis to get rounds after the KO procession, and well travelled Nicaraguan Robin Zamora gave him eight hard rounds in Leeds.  The July 2024 tear-up was exciting, with both men having their moments before Waters stretched his unbeaten run winning 79-74 after eight tough rounds.

He ended 2024 with an emphatic points win over battle hardened veteran, Octavian Gratti
