TRAVIS is one of several youngsters from the North-East turning professional under VIP banner.

 

He made his debut on the Troy Williamson v Josh Kelly undercard at Newcastle Arena where he outpointed experienced Nicaraguan Eligio Palacios.

 

His second professional fight was in March 2023 in Bolton was short and explosive, blowing away Joe Hardy inside two minutes of the opening round.

 

The following month, Waters was taken the distance by experienced Costa Rican, Berman Sanchez, but won all four rounds.

 

In September 2023, Waters headlined VIP Promotions' first fight card in the Northeast at Rainton Arena and blew away Jay McCarthy inside three once-sided rounds.

 

His reputation as a danger man was enhanced three months later when he stopped normally resilient Ukrainian Mikhail Sovtus in the fourth round.

 

Waters had more than 160 amateur fights and won two NABGC titles.
