THERE was a buzz about aggressive Ellis Grant after he impressed, pounding out a 40-36 points win over veteran Fonz Alexander in February 2024.

Praise was high but none more so from his opponent, Fonz, who tipped him to improve further and win titles.

Trainer Lee Molyneux believes that Grant was not at his best when he faced Nathan Darby in April 2024, but he still ran out a clear winner after four rounds.
